Are You Concerned About the Foreclosure Process?

In this economy many people are facing foreclosure.  You may know someone going through the foreclosure process.  Foreclosures seem to be everywhere, lately.

I could tell you story after story about people who have been in foreclosure, but first there is something I have to get off my chest.

I haven’t been very open with you.  I have been keeping my personal life out of my blog.  But I want you to be able to trust me, and for that to
happen you have to get to know the real me.  It’s time for me to come
clean.  Do you want to hear my dirty secret?

I have to admit, the foreclosure process has been an issue for me personally.  The bank just took my home away last week.

Last year I was laid off from the job I’ve been at for the past 17 years.  I had already been managing a web site for my wife as a Realtor®, but with the current state of the market, that wasn’t bringing in much money, either.

That’s when I started this blog to help first time home buyers in their pursuit of the American dream of becoming home owners.

Although I was not actually in the real estate business myself, I had been studying real estate investing methods for  several years, ever since I decided to buy a home.  Actually, it was my passion for real estate that got my wife interested in the business.

I have learned a lot about buying a home: when I bought my own home; from studying real estate investing; and from helping my wife study for her California Real estate license.  I have also been intimately involved in setting up and updating her real estate website.

When I bought my home, I had some bad experiences that I could have easily avoided if I knew what I know now, so I want to share my experiences to help others avoid having the same issues.

Buying a home is one of the biggest investments many people ever make, so it only makes sense to take the time to learn to make a good buying decision.  I want to help you make the right choices when you buy your home so you can avoid making a mistake that you will have to live with for years to come.

To start learning now about the home buying processs, I recommend the Home Buyer Defense Guide.  It has loads of valuable information about how to avoid many pitfalls that home buyers can stumble on.  Click here to learn more about it.
